Itinerary

Day 1Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) you will be met and transferred to Moshi / Arusha to recover from your journey and, if you’re lucky, to catch a glimpse of the spectacular Kilimanjaro which rises from the clouds above town.

Overnight Moshi/Arusha

Day 2, 3 & 4Serengeti National Park

Get ready for an unforgettable adventure! This morning, you’ll hit the road from Arusha to the legendary Serengeti. It’s about a 4-hour drive, but trust me, it’s worth every minute.

The Serengeti isn’t just any old game park – it’s the stage for one of nature’s greatest shows. Imagine millions of wildebeest thundering across vast, open plains. And where there’s prey, there are predators. Keep your eyes peeled for lions lounging in the grass, cheetahs on the hunt, and if you’re lucky, maybe even a leopard lurking in the shadows. Don’t forget about the hyenas – they’re always up to something!

As you make your way to camp, you’ll get your first taste of the Serengeti’s wildlife. And tonight? You’ll be sleeping right in the heart of it all. How cool is that?

For the next few days, you’ll be exploring every nook and cranny of this incredible place. The Serengeti’s plains seem to go on forever, and they’re teeming with life. Of course, you’ll be on the lookout for the Big 5, but don’t forget to soak in the whole experience. The sights, the sounds, the smells – it’s all part of the magic of the Serengeti. And if you time it right, you might just witness the great wildebeest migration. It’s something you’ll never forget!

Day 5Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro

Rise and shine! We’re hitting the Serengeti at the crack of dawn to catch a glimpse of those majestic big cats before they duck out of the sun. After a few hours cruising around, we’ll head over to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the night. Now, get this – the Ngorongoro caldera is something else. It’s the biggest intact caldera on Earth that isn’t filled with water. Picture this: a massive natural bowl, about 20 kilometers wide and 600 meters deep. Trust me, when you see the Ngorongoro Crater, it’ll take your breath away. It’s one of those places that makes you realize just how incredible our planet really is.

Day 6Ngorongoro Crater

Hey there! So, this morning we’re heading down into the Ngorongoro Crater. It’s seriously cool – like a natural wildlife park with walls. Almost all the animals live right there in the crater, which makes spotting them way easier than usual.

You’ve got a good shot at seeing rhinos, which is pretty rare in most places. There are also some lion prides hanging around, and if you’re lucky, you might catch a cheetah on the prowl.

We’ll stop for lunch near the hippo pond – trust me, it’s as fun as it sounds. After we’ve filled our bellies, we’ll hit the road back to Arusha. It’s about a two-hour drive, so not too bad.

This crater is a real treat for wildlife lovers. You’ll get to see these amazing animals up close in their natural habitat. It’s the kind of experience that sticks with you, you know? So keep your eyes peeled and your camera ready!
